The Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic in Sandestin, Florida was stop number four of the 2008 MTU Legend Series. The event drew 84 boats and 279 anglers, all competing for cash and prizes totaling over $1.3 million dollars. A total of 42 billfish were caught and released at this tournament stop, which also produced a new tournament record for Tuna at 179 lbs.
